





DAY 1 : Hanoi – Hoa Lu (110 km) – Hanoi (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive to Hoa lu. Check and visit temples Dinh and Le dynasties, the first unifying the country. Afterwards, the bus takes you to the dock at Thung Nang lung-sun-Vallee (replacing Tam Coc become too touristy), a traditional boat trip on the river that winds between the karst hills and rice paddies. Then bike ride (4km) on a beautiful country road amid the rice fields and rocks to the cave and Bich Dong Pagoda. (Participants do not want to bike will be transferred by bus to the cave).
Lunch at Thai Vi temple (or outdoors if it does not rain, or inside if raining). This temple is located amidst a beautiful landscape of mountains and rice fields, surrounded by two lakes of pink lotus. Afternoon: Departure to Phat Diem to visit the stunning cathedral style Sino-Vietnamese.
Return and night in Hanoi.
DAY 2 : Hanoi – Halong Bay (180 km) (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart by road to Halong directly through rice paddies over to our way or we can observe the work of transplanting rice. Around noon, reception around a welcome drink and installation on a traditional wooden junk, comfortable and air conditioned. Lunch of seafood on board to begin a memorable cruise through the legendary Halong Bay. You’ll stop to visit the natural caves and, if time permits, you can swim in the turquoise waters of Tonkin. Dinner at sunset.
Option: Fishing cuttle-fish or the torch.
Overnight on board junk
DAY 3 : Halong – Hanoi – Hue (B, L, D)
Breakfast on board. Continuation of the discovery of Halong Bay and fishing village. Lunch on board and then landing.
Drive back to Hanoi. Stop in the village of Bat Trang, famous for the best ceramic products.
Free time before transfer to the station for the night train toward Hue.

DAY 4 : Hue (B, L, D)
Arrive in Hue, transfer and breakfast at the hotel. Embarking on a cruise on the Perfume River, passing by the temple of the Celestial Lady (Thien Mu) to the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang.Déjeuner in a vegetarian restaurant in town.
The afternoon visit the Citadel in Hue Imperial Palace recalling the Forbidden City of Beijing, recently listed World Heritage by Unesco, and then discovered the Mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh (or Tu Duc) and Dong Market Ba – the largest market in Central Vietnam…
Overnight in Hue.
DAY 5 : Hue – Danang-Hoi An (145 km) (B L.D)
Road to Lang Co, a fishing village on a lagoon with white sand. Continue to Danang through the sublime Col des Nuages. Upon arrival, visit to beautiful Cham museum. Continue to Hoi An (ex Faifo), the most charming little town of Vietnam.
Lunch at good local restaurant
Afternoon stroll and explore the old city listed World Heritage of Unesco and its fabulous treasures visit the Chinese city of narrow streets lined with traditional houses, the Japanese bridge, the port of Hoi An, pagoda, artisans lanterns …
At the Phuoc Kien Pagoda, a calligrapher will present the evolution of calligraphy of Chinese characters through time.
Overnight in Hoi An
DAY 6 : Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh (B, L, D)
Transfer to the airport for Saigon.
Home and Sightseeing: Discovery’s Chinatown Cho Lon with colorful streets lined with shops and temples, where the crowd is loud and colorful. A stop at Thien Hau Temple which was built in the sixteenth century by members of a congregation originally from Canton China. The city tour you will also see the ancient capital of Saigon around Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), with City Hall opened in 1908, Notre Dame of neo-Romanesque style, built between 1877 and 1880, the post office built on plans of Gustave Eiffel. Dinner at a good local restaurant.

DAY 7 : Ho Chi Minh-Tay Ninh (B, L, D)
Excursion to see Saigon Tay Ninh (Cao Dai Temple) – Departure from Ho Chi Minh in the direction of Tay Ninh town – the Holy See of the Cao Dai religion – a place of pilgrimage for followers of this religion in South Vietnam, and for all those interested in the Cao Dai. The religion’s most eclectic imaginable in this world.
Explore the underground village of Ben Duoc Cu Chi, immense network of underground galleries and narrow trenches, dug by hand by the guerrillas to take refuge and defense during the Vietnam War. Back in Ho Chi Minh
Day 8 : Saigon-Cai Be-Vinh Long-Can Tho (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive for 3 hours in the province of Vinh Long located in the Mekong Delta. Cruise along the river and its canals emerged from dense lush vegetation. Lunch in a traditional home where you can taste exotic fruit orchard. Then drive to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 9 : CAN THO / CAI RANG / CHAU DOC (B, L, D)
In morning boat cruise to visit the floating market of Cai Rang, a lively floating markets in South-east. Then discover the Binh Thuy ancient house. After lunch, drive to Chau Doc, situated near the Cambodian border. Overnight in Chau Doc.
DAY 10: CHAU DOC / Ho Chi Minh / Departure (B)
Free day until transfer for international flight.
(or can take an express boat departure from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh.
